Most people listen to music to pass time while they wait for their plane or while they’re flying. They don’t mind what earphone they put on your ears, round or oval, no matter how an iAdvertiser claims it to be special and defy the laws of physics.

When I listen to music, i am a little. critical about what stream of frequencies go into my ears. I want to listen to every instrument that plays, and the way they are captured from the instrument and how they are stored into the recorded medium and how they are reproduced. And for this, i can’t use a commercially available iDevice, I will need a more professional hardware with good DSP software, and actual analog headphones at Musician’s Friend that I can use for critical listening.

Life is too short to listen to music in bad quality or in cheap headphones. people think the last beats don’t matter much.But the literal truth is that it is all that matters.These notes cannot be produced in every headphones. The modern day pro headphones are precision engineered to hear every detail and tone of the music.They produce the deepest base and the loudest vocals.They are even isolate the ambient noise.This done by producing a noise that is the exact opposite of the ambient noise.There by producing studio quality sound and ensuring that you never miss any beat.

I have a weird set of friends who fancy calling themselves rock fans. But I am a very humble pop fan and would prefer to listen only to pop music. When the people around me start making fun of me for listening pop, I just go take my headphones and shut the world out and listen to what i like and the others won’t have an idea what I am listening to, and more over, i won’t be disturbed by the music they are playing and they won’t be disturbed by what i am playing.

We have the same set of senses that other living beings do too. Sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. Smells, good or bad, the nose gets accustomed to it in some time, so there is no way you can please it for ever without changing the smell. Sight too gets boring after a while, unles you are watching something on an HDTV. The sense of touch, well, there are great ways to please it, but I’m not going to talk about it right now, same thing goes for taste as for smell, you can’t continue to eat for ever, but Sound. Wow. Sound, is something that you can listen to for ever. Especially a well recorded audio on a good pair of headphones plugged into a nice music player. There is no other bliss that is as powerful as this. My personal preference is the in-ear earphones, while some people say that sound is better from well made speakers, I still think they are better on earphones.
