Yahoo Web MessengerIf you are a regular reader of my blog you should bloody well know by now that I do not use Windows unless there is no way that I can get a task done on Linux. Both my home PC and my office PC are on linux nad do not even have the slightest trace of windows or the bloody FAT or NTFS file systems installed on them. They are all on Ext3, though someone I know insists on another system to be installed for use with Linux.
The problem with linux is that you cannot install most of the messengers such as Yahoo, MSN and Gtalk. The good thing happens to be that all these instant messaging providers happen to be good with flash and have floated good web messengers. Yahoo Web messenger can eb found at webmessenger.yahoo.com and gtalk’s can be found at google.com/talk. Just open the page, and login to your account with the respective service, and you will be able to use the service from a browser window, from any PC, on any operating system with any browser, anywhere in the world.
